My Favorite Travel Products

Note: if you purchase an item through my link  below, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. But rest assured, I only recommend products & brands I love and that I think you would love, too!

SwissGear Softside Expandable Spinner Carry-On Luggage

Why I like it: I’m actually team soft-side luggage because you can maximize space and squeeze more in there than a hard-shell bag. This one has so many compartments and 360 degree spinner wheels. Plus, it’s carry-on compliant – and y’all know I’m Team Carry-On! 😉

MATEIN Travel Backpack

Why I like it: I’ve tried many travel/carry-on backpacks and this is my FAVORITE! It holds sooo much and has a million compartments & pockets, plus a built-in charging cable to use with your own power bank. I also love the bottom padding beneath the laptop sleeve for extra protection. Trevor and I each have one and love them!

Mary Kay Travel Roll-Up Cosmetic Bag

Why I like it: I absolutely adore this case and hope they never stop making it! The BEST part is that each clear pouch is attached by velcro so they’re removable! It also holds soooo much and rolls up really compact.

Compression Packing Cubes

Why I like it: These babies compress my clothing down and save me around 25% of packing space!

Luggage Handle Caddy

Why I like it: This caddy is a life-saver, esp for solo travelers. I stick my phone, drink, and wallet/passport in it so I can easily take them out for security and boarding and not have to carry a thousand things at once!

Silicone Travel Bottle Set

Why I like it: Wide-mouthed bottles and color coding make these so much easier to keep track of what the heck you put in them. I’ve gone through several sets and these are my favorite!

Memory Foam Cervical Neck Pillow

Why I like it: I have tried a dozen neck pillows and this is the BEST so far. It’s ergonomic and prevents your head from falling too far forward. I use it at home when I have acid reflux and need to to sleep upright, too!

Cable/Cord Organizer

Why I like it: It wrangles all my charger heads + cables into one easy, compact case!

Apple Airtags 4-Pack

Why I like it: I have one in my travel purse, backpack, and carry-on, and an extra for whenever we check a bag. And one of the two times we’ve done so in the past two years, our luggage was left behind in Germany and I knew before the airline did!

3 in 1 Portable Apple Charging Station

Why I like it: It’s the perfect portable mag-charge for my three main Apple devices, and only needs one cable. Plus it folds up super small!

Bluetooth Headset Speaker

Why I like it: I use this for my sleep stories and music from my mindfulness app. It’s great because I can wear my earplugs underneath and still hear through them, so I don’t have to choose between earplugs and AirPods (or risk losing my AirPods in the middle of the night!)

Anker 20,000mAh Power Bank

Why I like it: This sucker has POWER, baby! It can charge one phone from empty to full 5-6 times, or dual charge two at once at least 3 times. It’s also strong enough to charge my iPad, though it can only do it 2-3 times. But honestly, a charge lasts forever.

Sink-Ready Detergent Kit

Why I like it: Save the money on expensive laundromats/laundry services and wash your own laundry on the go. I especially love being able to wash underwear/socks mid-trip, even if it’s just to save my suitcase from smelling!

Portable “Down There” Wipes

Why I like it: I always have toilet seat covers & extra TP with me, but I also love these wipes for those hot days when you sweat a lot & those particular days of the month. These are an excellent refresher and the unscented ones are hypoallergenic. But no matter what they say, don’t flush them!

Quick-Dry Microfiber Towel

Why I like it: I LOVE THESE TOWELS. They were especially helpful during my backpacking hostel days, but they’re also excellent for camping – and my husband and I still bring them now even when we stay in hotels. They are super absorbent and dry very quickly!

Retractable Portable Clothesline + 12 Pins

Why I like it: These are a staple for every trip. I love using these for wet bathing suits or clothes caught in the rain, or towels when you don’t have enough hooks in your room. It folds up so small too and takes next to space in your bag!

Insta360 x3 Starter Kit

Why I like it: As a frequent solo traveler, I am obsessed with Insta360’s ease of use and automatic disappearing selfie stick in post-edits. I love just being able to stick it in the air and shoot, then choose the view I want afterward – it acts as a pseudo-drone too!

Panasonic Lumix FZ300

Why I like it: I’ve always been partial to the Lumix line, and find I actually prefer Panasonic’s zoom, manual focus, and ability to manipulate a picture faster and easier than its Canon counterparts. This is an excellent point-and-shoot camera for nature and city life for intermediate and even beginner photographers.

Flexible Tripod + Remote

Why I like it: I love the flexible “octopus” arms because you can set up this tripod virtually anywhere/on any surface, railing, tree branch, etc. Plus the remote is always a great accessory!

Anker 6-Port USB Charger

Why I like it: when your hotel room is low on wall outlets, you can extend the power supply to up to 6 devices that rely on USB cables (which, for me, is most of them!)

Columbia Casual Shorts

Why I like it: I love these for everyday wear because they’re durable, water-resistant, and versatile enough to go with any top. The only downside is Columbia seems to have stopped making women’s shorts with back pockets, but I always have a backpack or day bag with me anyway so it doesn’t bother me TOO much.

Columbia Women’s Trail Pants

Why I like it: These are super comfy and water-resistant and have multiple pockets. They also feature roll-up/removable bottoms to convert into capris. They’re lightweight and roll up really small. I have grey and black and they double as versatile daily walking/sightseeing pants too!

Foldable Brim Summer UV Hat

Why I like it: It’s cute, functional, protects against UV rays, and folds up small without sacrificing its shape integrity. I love this hat and bring it everywhere!

3-in-1 Poncho/Emergency Shelter

Why I like it: This durable poncho is great for rain/wind (and a little extra warmth!), but it also doubles as a tarp or even an emergency shelter. It’s perfect for hiking, camping, or even sightseeing in the city when the weather is unpredictable.
